1st Full Album! VERIVERY SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 3 : WHOLE]
From the ‘FACE it’ series delving into the concept of ‘facing the many selves co-existing in oneself’ to the ‘SERIES ‘O’’ series and its exploration of the ‘darkness within’ that all dread facing, yet must, VERIVERY has developed a stable foundation for its world-building over its releases. The world-building now reaches its spectacular height through VERIVERY’s first full album [ROUND 3 : WHOLE].

Hello Darkness, Learning How to Co-exist with It
Through the story strewn across SERIES ‘O’ VERIVERY had found O, a space of darkness, at a party that they were invited to by mysterious figures, eventually facing what was at its core. In [ROUND 3 : WHOLE], the story now moves on to focus on the struggle between those seeking to face the darkness and those trying to protect it, with the phrase ‘Hello Darkness’ becoming the key to the conflict.

‘Hello Darkness’ also serves as the ultimate message that VERIVERY wishes to deliver through its entirety of SERIES ‘O’. In the end, ‘darkness’ is a necessity that one must learn to co-exist with in order to live on. However, the interpretation of this notion, as well as the means to do so, must be reached individually.

‘It’s Coming, the Perfect Time’ – Finally, the Endgame!
The endgame is the point when conflicts come to a close. At the end of this battle within the darkness, a clear winner exists, yet both sides must continue on, learning to co-exist and maintaining peace from each of their own worlds.

In this album, VERIVERY has managed to express this concept of the ‘endgame’ in a number of ways. The album cover depicts a circle reminiscent of fight rings to clearly showcase the album’s main message, while the antique elevator set introduces an air of mystery to the atmosphere. As well, the concept films connecting the new story to previous installments of the series make effective use of ambience in order to create suspense as if one was watching a horror film. Multiple action movie-like sequences portraying conflict and extravagant use of CG only add to enrichening the experience by creating a sensory explosion.

첫 정규 앨범! VERIVERY SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 3 : WHOLE]
베리베리는 ‘내 안의 수많은 모습을 마주한다’라는 키워드 아래 전개됐던 ‘FACE it’에서부터 애써 마주하고 싶지 않은, 그러나 필수 불가결한 존재인 ‘어두운 내면’에 대한 ‘SERIES ‘O’’까지 탄탄한 세계관을 구축해왔다. 이렇게 클라이맥스에 다다른 세계관은 베리베리의 첫 정규 앨범인 [ROUND 3 : WHOLE]에서 화려하게 펼쳐질 예정이다.

Hello Darkness, 함께 공존하는 법을 깨닫다.
베리베리는 지난 SERIES ‘O’를 통해 미지의 존재로부터 파티에 초대받아 어둠의 공간(O)을 발견했고, 마침내 그 실체를 마주했다. [ROUND 3 : WHOLE]에서는 어둠에 맞서려는 자와 어둠을 지키려는 자 둘 사이의 대립이 주된 이야기로써 ‘Hello Darkness’를 핵심 키워드로 삼는다.

‘Hello Darkness’는 베리베리가 SERIES ‘O’를 통해 전하고 싶은 궁극적인 메시지이기도 하다. 결국엔 공존하고 살아가는 것을 선택할 수밖에 없는 필수 불가결한 진리 ‘어둠’. 공존하는 방법과 의미는 각자의 몫으로 맡긴다.

‘완벽한 시간이 와’ 결전의 날, Finally!
결전은 승부를 결정짓는 싸움이다. ‘어둠’ 속 싸움의 끝에 승패는 존재하지만 이들은 공존하며 살아가야만 하고 각자의 세상에서 이들은 평화를 유지하며 존재할 것이다.

베리베리는 ‘결전’이라는 컨셉을 다양한 방식으로 풀어냈다. 자켓에서는 파이터 클럽과 같은 링 세트를 구현해 메시지를 직관적으로 담아냈고, 엔티크한 엘리베이터 세트는 미스터리한 무드를 자아내며 분위기를 더했다. 특히, 이전 시리즈와 연결된 스토리를 담은 컨셉 필름은 강렬한 앰비언스 효과가 귀를 사로잡아 공포 영화 한 편을 보는 듯한 긴장감을 선사한다. 뮤직비디오에서는 ‘어둠’ 속 이들이 마주해 싸우는 절정의 이야기를 보여준다. 마치 액션 블록버스터 영화를 보는 듯한 대립 장면과 화려한 CG가 등장해 많은 이들의 오감을 자극할 예정이다.
